Plan Your Visit

What a visit to the Gardens looks like.

Most visitors spend between one and two hours walking the full path. There is no required pace. The Gardens is a place for moving slowly, stopping often, and staying as long as you need.

The Experience

What you will find.

The path winds through six acres of garden, crossing bridges, passing streams, and arriving at each of the fifteen stations in turn. Benches are placed throughout. The gift shop and visitor center are available at the start and end of your visit. An audio tour is available for $5 and can be added at the time of ticket purchase. It can be used at your own pace and paused at any station.

Whether gift shop and visitor center hours match the garden’s hours is pending confirmation.

Accessibility

The Gardens welcomes visitors of every ability.

Mobility scooters are available to rent for $10, reserve in advance when possible. Benches are placed at each station along the path. Accessible restroom facilities are available in the visitor center. Station markers along the path are inscribed with scripture citations in raised braille.

Considerate of others

Some visitors come seeking quiet and solitude. Please limit cell phone use to outdoor areas away from the path and be mindful of those around you.

Stay on designated pathways

Please stay on designated pathways throughout the grounds to help protect the plantings and preserve the space for all. Please do not pick flowers or natural plants.

Smoke-free property

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the Gardens property, including the Welcome Center and all outdoor areas. Visitors who wish to smoke must do so off the property.

Service animals

Only service animals are permitted on the grounds. Pets, emotional support animals, and therapy animals are not permitted. Service animals must remain under control at all times.

Inclement weather

Outdoor areas will close immediately in the event of lightning or active thunderstorms. The Gift Shop will remain open when safe. The Gardens will also close during Level 2 or Level 3 Snow Emergencies. Updates are posted to the website and social media.
